We are happy to inform you about the new competitive advantage of FortFS! On 27 March 2018, the European Securities and Markets Authority imposed a limit on the maximum leverage, not more than 30: 1 for major currency pairs for brokerage companies registered in the European Union and UK. Also, leverage for other currency pairs and CFDs were significantly reduced. According to the published statement of the Regulator, this restriction will come into effect within a few weeks, which will be reported additionally.
You can get acquainted with the ESMA directive here: https://www.esma.europa.eu
However, these restrictions do not apply to European and other customers that trade with FortFS, since our international brokerage license IFSC/60/256/TS/17, is received outside the European Union, and consequently still allows us to provide leverage up to 1000: 1!
The verification procedure for our European customers when registering with FortFS remains the same.
For all customers working with Fort Financial Services, trading conditions (spreads, commissions, account types, set of trading contracts, etc.) remain unchanged.
